Jeff Healey joined acftv from Cisco Systems where he worked in more than 100 countries across EMEA. Prior to Cisco Jeff worked in North America, Canada and the Far East for a variety of global players including EMC & FedEx. The convergence of film content, Internet technologies and state of the art developments in film making and production made the move from technology to film production seamless.
Healey has since established acftv's on-line presence and sold its film's to houshold names around the world.
In 2004 he completed the film Lord of the Wing as producer. Having produced 'Lord of the Wing', Jeff organised the film premiere at the SECC Glasgow for 3,000 people followed by London, New York and Las Vegas.
Healey created Jimmy Johnstone's official web site and sold all the limited edition Tribute to Jimmy Johnstone Eggs designed by Sarah Fabergé. The first-ever Fabergé Egg to be designed for a living person since Sarah's grandfather Carl designed a one-off gift for the Tsarina in the 1880's, was launched at the House of Commons. Permission was obtained from senior executives at UEFA, SFA, SFL and Celtic FC for the incorporation of their patents in it's design.
Healey has been involved with the production of a variety of films including Afghan Massacre and Android Prophecy sold rights and negotiated distribution deals with broadcasters around the world including CNN, CBC, ARD, NDR, ITV, SBS and more, as well as setting up the direct global distribution for Lord of the Wing and TV broadcasting contracts with the BBC, ESPN Classic and others.
He produced and released the number one hit single from the "Lord of the Wing" movie soundtrack "Dirty Old Town" performed by Jimmy Johnstone, Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds. All the profit went to the charity set up by Jeff and the MNDA in Jimmy's name www.justgiving.com/jimmyjohnstone.
Through his association with the Fabergé family, and the creation of a second Sarah Fabergé designed Egg in honour of George Best, Healey has been able to raise thousands for charities including United for UNICEF, the Manchester Childrens Hospital Appeal and the George Best Foundation. www.georgebesttribute.com. This required the endorsement of Manchester United, Nike and the Irish FA for use of their brands.
Jeff is currently developing two feature films and is responsible for all research, production, sales and finance.
